Every one of us dreams of owning a sports car. But since they can be quite expensive, most of us settle in customizing our existing ride to make it look like one. The seller is auctioning a rare 1987 Maserati Biturbo SI. Although it might not look as sleek as a Lambo or a Ferrari, it does have the power to play catch-up with them in terms of performance. So why is the current owner selling it at only $2,000? Well, if you believe in the saying that “if it’s too good to be true, then it probably is”, this is a perfect example. While it is a sports car and its sports a 2.5 fuel injected engine and an array of features, the line that says “It CANNOT BE DRIVEN , it DOES NO RUN as it is” just threw away whatever lust we had for it. According to the seller, the car wasn’t properly maintained and they did their best to get it back into shape. Lesson in selling guys, try not to indicate the words “cannot” and “does no (which should be “not” by the way).” Trust us; it will scare away potential buyers.
Anyway, if you really are set in getting your own sports car and you’ve got little money to work with, this ’87 Maseratu Biturbo could interest you. Sure you’ll have to pretty much overhaul the whole thing. But at least you got to achieve your dream of getting your own sports car, right? We just hope though that the dream doesn’t suddenly become a nightmare once the car’s with you.
