Aston Martin has a reputation of coming up with spectacular looking vehicles. But since we live in a world where perfection can only be attained if…well, you’re God, the brand has had its share of failures in terms of design. And in our opinion, one car that falls under this category is the Aston Martin Lagondawagon.
Face it, when you say Aston Martin, the characteristics that come into mind are sleek, fast, and stylish. The Lagondawagon falls a bit short in the sleek and stylish category. While it’s front area looks like it took inspiration from the DeLorean used in Back to the Future, it’s rear end leaves something to be desired. At a glance, the car looks like a supped-up Hearse. That’s something you wouldn’t want your vehicle to be compared too, right?
Of course, despite its aesthetic flaws, the Lagonda model does have its good sides. It’s considered the first production car to sport a digital instrumental panel which most modern cars carry this feature today. Although it proved to be costly and the first few proved to be failure-prone, it at least helped establish the Lagondas models in the automotive world.
But if you’re the type who wants to drive around in a more stylish vehicle, you might want to look at other cars other than the Lagondawagon and the other Lagonda models. You’ll get a better reaction when you take a cruise downtown.
